Floors Etcetera was founded in 1992 by Sandra Burnett and Danny Krienke. Sandra, an interior design enthusiast and astute businesswoman, began an intensive search for a hardwood floor expert for her home. When she discovered the talent and life-long experience of Danny, she recognized a rare opportunity—and Floors Etcetera was born to provide the greater Houston area with a company whose quality would have no equal.

Danny Krienke didn’t choose fine hardwood flooring as a career — he was born into it. He learned everything he knows and practices today from one of Houston’s most respected, master wood craftsman he called, “Dad.” Very few people in the industry today learned their craft from passionate, old school artisans and even fewer can match Danny’s talent, knowledge and decades of experience. Danny’s Dad began taking his son to job-sites when he was only 4 years old. For the next 40 years, Danny has honed his talents and skills to become Houston’s foremost hardwood artisan.
